A violent protest is currently ongoing in Wuse Market, at the nation’s capital, Abuja. The protesters are blocking vehicles and harassing visitors from entering the market.
It was learnt that the protesters are angry over the killing of a taxi driver allegedly murdered by a task force in the market Wednesday morning.
While the market remains shut, the protesters have blocked movement of vehicles around the area, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.
The exact demand of the protesters is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
