News spread just yesterday across social media on the killing of an elephant by a local hunter in Idanre Hill of Ondo State. Nigerians have however reacted to the rather sad news.
According to a report gathered from Facebook, a lot of Nigerians expressed their dissatisfaction with the action of the ignorant hunter, who was seen in the viral photos posing with his kill.
Although it was reported that the animal had been causing havoc in the community – destroying their farm produce, but a lot of people believe that was not enough justification to kill the endangered animal.
Even popular comedian, Alibaba reacted to the story and blamed it all on total ignorance and lack of orientation.
