Nigeria Lose To Morocco In African Nations Championship Final

’s quest for a maiden title will wait for another two years after the home-based Super Eagles lost on Sunday night to Morroco.

The Super Eagles lost four goals to nil against in the final of the tournament which was played in Casablanca city, Morroco.

Tournament top scorer, Ayoub El Kaabi iced the victory for the hosts with his 9th goal of the competition in the 73rd minute sealing a maiden title for the hosts.

The Super Eagles played the majority of the second half with 10 men after peter Eneji was sent off for a second bookable offence three minutes after the restart.
