Authorities of the National Security and Defense Service Corps NSCDC, Nassarawa state, have captured a 21 year old hopeful of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME, for having a privately made gun and two rounds of live ammo inside one of the examination hall in Nassarawa state.
Affirming his capture, the state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Bashir Lawal-Kano, said the presume when grilled, said somebody gave him the firearm for safety’s sake. Lawal-Kano aded that the suspect would soon be charged to court for illicit ownership of arms.
