EME Artiste, Shaydee Joins Gov. Fashola, Oba Akiolu, Others For Metro Bus Launch

“Chakam” crooner and Metro Taxi ambassador, Shaydee, was at the Metro Bus launch which held at Lagos State Traffic Manage Authority (LASTMA) office in Oshodi, Lagos State on the 17 February, 2015.
The EME star, poised to release his new single, was present at the launch alongside other dignitaries of Lagos State including the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola; the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu; the Group Chief Executive Officer, Niyi Oguntoyinbo; and the Philly and Mools Group, under which Metro Taxi and Metro Bus operate.
Speaking at the launch, Shaydee said, “Public transportation is continually being updated and upgraded in Lagos State, and I am very proud to be associated with the project. Lagosians deserve to be able to travel in comfort and ease and I am glad that Governor Fashola has not stopped his continual improvement of transport in the state.”
Fashola formally flagged off the operations of the fleet of 100 new air-conditioned buses to commence the Metro Bus project, which will be integrated into the current Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system currently in place in Lagos.

SHAYDEE, born Shadrach Adeboye in 1987 in Kano state, Nigeria, is a gifted singer and song writer. He started singing as a duo with a friend on social nights in his senior secondary school days; he went on to join the school choir and in a very short time became the head of the choir. Years later he met Spellz, a producer and began writing songs for other artistes. He produced his first song, which was titled ‘How Do I Breathe’ shortly after that. In 2012, Shaydee sealed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment after leaving his former label. He was immediately featured on the Empire Mates State of Mind album, which featured new label mates Banky W, Wizkid, Skales & Niyola.
