A bomb blast has occurred at the Federal College of Education in Kano, northern Nigerian.
Witnesses told NAIJAOLOFOFO that gunshots were also fired at the institution.
Casualty figures are unclear as at press time but witnesses said many students have been feared killed and that sporadic gunfire could still be heard within and around the college.
