New signing believes that joining the club could help him avoid damaging his career.

The 22-year-old Nigerian secured a season-long loan switch to Anfield on transfer deadline day, after parent club Chelsea had strengthened significantly in his position already this summer with the likes of Andre Schurrle and Willian.

Moses feels that he needed to obtain guaranteed first-team football for the good of his career.

“As a young footballer coming up, I just wanted to play games,” Moses told FC’s official website. “Not playing can really damage your career.
