Nigeria’s D’Tigress keep making history as they keep advancing in the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup.
The team had beaten both Turkey and Argentina in their group stage matches to advance to the playoffs.
The team played Greece in their playoffs and just edged a win, beating them 57-56.
D’Tigress has now become, not only the first African team to win a match or advance past the group stage in the world cup, but also the first to advance to the Quarter Finals.
Nigeria will meet USA in the Quarter Finals and hopefully advance to the semis.
