A Nigerian student who was schooling in Kenya identified as Bamiyo Ashad was allegedly beaten to death by Kenyan Police Officers.
It was reported that the student popularly known as Bam was a student of United States International University, USIU. He was in Kenya legally and had his documents to show for it.
However, the Kenya Police Officers reportedly tried to extort money From him and when the student refused to play along, he was reportedly dragged into their van and was allegedly beaten till he lost consciousness.
He was conveyed to the hospital where he reportedly died after an hour.
