Barcelona have told midfielder Cesc Fabregas, that he can leave the club this summer and the Spain international is believed to favour a move back to the Premier League.

Arsenal are favourites to land Fabregas, who left the club in 2009 and some reports in the British media claim senior sources at the Emirates and Nou Camp have began negotiations. The Gunners inserted a buy-back clause in the 27-year-old’s contract, when he left the club, which is around £25m.

It may however not be a straightforward move, as Manchester City and Liverpool are also eyeing moves for the midfielder. Fabregas is an interesting foor English clubs, as he would count as a home-grown player, as he moved to Arsenal when he was 16.

New Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is keen on promoting Rafinha, after working with him at Celta Vigo and is ready to sell Fabregas, who has earned 87 caps with Spain.
