The African Arts and Fashion Week DC ( AAFWDC ) is driven by the African Arts Fashion Initiative which is a new platform to showcase African talent and an enormous opportunity for Africa to display their impressive proficiency in Fashion and Style.
The intent of this event is two-fold. It will first bring support and recogni-tion to the African emerging and established fashion designers as well as empowering the youth of Africa. AAFWDC objective is to introduce and share it’s rich culture and heritage globally.
The Aim of the Initiative is to promote Africa on the rise, showcasing its rich cultural heritage and talent globally. Thereby, Creating opportunities for the empowerment of the African youth.
