Fast rising artiste and the Pana crooner Tekno has shown his displeasure at been disqualified from the Next Rated award category by the organizers of the Headies.
Tekno who had most likely been waiting for his opportunity to throw a shade grabbed one last night in the Rhythm Unplugged stage.
The Artiste mounted the stage to perform and in pidgin says “Dem nominate me, say they disqualify me again, you be God?” He said in an obvious shade at the organizers of the Headies.
It could be recalled that although Tekno was among the 5 initial nominees for the coveted Next Rated category, before his nonchalant attitude and remarks got him off the list.
Tekno had commented that he deserved more than the Next Rated category, a move that cost him the nomination and the hope of winning.
