The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has revealed that road users nabbed using their phones while driving would be arrested
Adding that irrespective of whether they are using Google map or not, no road user should be found using their phones while driving
Federal Corp Marshall, Boboye Oyeyemi explained that the only condition for road users to use the Google map is by making use of a car holding phone device
While categorically stating that use of Google map is not a criminal offence, he added that hand held driving and usage are offenses which offenders would have to face the wrath of the law squarely
