Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has signed a new deal at Old Trafford, it has been revealed.

The report in the Mirror says De Gea has signed a new deal with Manchester United – ending speculation over his future.

The Spanish goalkeeper will be out of contract at the end of the season, he has now signed a new four-year deal with the Red Devils with the option of an extra year.De Gea’s representatives have agreed that the goalkeeper is willing to remain in England instead of seeking a more abroad as he believes in the Manchester United project.The new contract will see De Gea earn £350,000-a-week with performance-related clauses, the new contract is a major boost for Manchester United, who risked losing the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper for nothing after allowing him to enter the final year of his contract without having signed an extension.
