Popular actor and comedian, Olaniyi Afonja, better known as Sanyeri has a secret he’s keeping away from his wife, Awawu Omolara Jimoh and the world. He has a love-child from one of his longtime intern and girlfriend, Omotoyosi Jaiyesimi. Toyosi, a beautiful lady who has been shuttling as an intern in Sanyeri’ s drama group and fellow actor, Adekola Tijani also known as Kamilu Kampo put to bed a baby girl last month.
The christening of the baby in Ikorodu, Lagos, according to reliable sources was low-key. Sanyeri was shell-shocked when he received the news that Toyosi was pregnant for him, though he knew the baby was coming since the lady had refused his plea for abortion. The fact that she had delivered the baby did not meet him as a surprise.
Sanyeri’s baby’s mama is also an upcoming actress and Islamic singer whose career only recently began to blossom.
Our checks also revealed that Sanyeri who has a soft spot for fair-skinned ladies found Toyosi too hard to resist, and so it didn’t come as a surprise to close friends that the relationship between the secret lovebirds grew from that of an intern- to-boss to a full-blown romantic affair.
As expected both sides, who have according to E24-7 MAGAZINE have sworn to a secret oath make it a secret of a lifetime, as long as the baby’s and the mother’s needs are taken care of have denied the story. When E24-7 MAGAZINE contacted Sanyeri on phone, he went on a long pause, apparently ruffled, but later gathered himself together enough to deny the paternity of the child, also claimed that he has never set his eyes on the lady.
Following repeated calls to his phone lines, one Sunday who identified himself as his Personal Assistant, Sanyeri eventually responded and made a plea to meet our correspondent to make some explanations but he was faraway. He asked: “Why did you want to write my scandal. You just want to write my scandal.
When told that was not the intention but to seek the truth, he veered off discussion, whipping up sentiments and asked if Toyosi has owned up.
He concluded: “Well, you can go ahead and write your story, I will not die. I will survive, there’s no problem,” he said.
Speaking with E24-7 MAGAZINE, Omotoyosi also refuted the claim that Sanyeri was the father of her baby. In a voice, that betrayed her worries, Toyosi insisted that the father of her child wasn’t in the entertainment industry. When asked for the father of her baby, she said, “Sanyeri is not the father of my child. The father of my child is not in the entertainment industry.” When pressed further to divulge the real name of her baby’s father, she said, “What do you want me to say? Sanyeri is not the father of my child.”
