CDQ and his manager, Obinna (Ob9ja) have gone their separate ways. CDQ fell out with Obinna after about 5 months together. Both parties decided to call it quit over some ‘unsettled differences.’
Information reveals that CDQ’s record label, General Records, might be responsible for the ‘accelerated split’ between them due to what we gathered to be connected to money-related issues between the parties.
We further learnt that the split actually happened on wednesday, May 13, 2015. CDQ’s record label, General Records, sent a mail saying “General Records Confirms Termination of Managerial Relationship Between Artist CDQ and Manager Obinna aka Ob9ja “. Obinna started Managing CDQ Late December 2014. Under his management, CDQ became more popular and famous. Further confirmation, CDQ’s twitter & IG page.
