C. Hub magazine launches Creativity Award (CA award) as it turn’s 3 years.

Creativity Award (CA award) is a C. Hub magazine initiative to recognise excellence in creativity within the African and Caribbean arts and creativity industry. The award which is open to creative men and women of African and Caribbean origin at home and abroad is one of it’s kind, that brings together the who is who in creativity and entertainment.

 

The maiden black tie event will see a plethora of performances, talks and award presentation in over 30 categories. The largest award event in the UK recognising talented creative individuals in entertainment and all creative sector including business.

 

CA award is made up of  32 categories, 116 shortlisted finalists expected to attend the prestigious event in November at the elegant Hilton Hotel Tower Bridge London on the 21 November, 2015. Also expected to attend the event are the special recognition awardees – Dr Alistair Soyode  (founder BEN TV ), DR Nkem Ezeilo (Nigeria’s Top UK based GP and healthy lifestyle coach), HRH Theodora Oyebade (pioneer and leader of Nollywood UK ), Pauline Long (founder BEFFTA award), Emmanuel Anyiam-Osigwe (founder  British Urban Film Festival, BUFF), and not the least, Mr Akin Salami (founder OHTV). These individuals will be recognised with an ICON award for their contributions in establishing a viable creative and entertainment industry in the UK for Africans.

Also expected are the legend recognition awardees, including ; Dr Yvonne Thompson (CBE)

Tony Elumelu, Dele Momodu and Prof. Wole Soyinka.

 

C. Hub magazine executive publisher  congratulates all CA award finalists, calling it ‘a day of celebrating creativity.’ He said, “our vision with C. Our future has never been brighter as it is today. Without these folks, fashion will not evolve, music will not excite, and films will not inspire. We are delighted to once again lead the way to awaken our inner power to do more.”

 

The Creativity Award (CA)   comes as C. Hub magazine turns 3 years since its inception in 2012.  In less than 3 years, C. Hub magazine has gradually become the leading publication in creativity and entertainment among Africans and Caribbean communities.

 

The magazine was voted BEFFTA best magazine of the year 2014,  and this year has been named the most informative international magazine in the UK by the Extraordinary People’s Award organisers.

 

C. Hub magazine continues to innovate, and bring the best of African creativity to light in a very dynamic and creative manner to inform, educate, give exposure as well as entertain the world whilst adding value to African creativity and heritage.

 

Tickets are now available to purchase  on the website, www.chubmagazine.com/events , and is expected to be a sold out event with over 100 tickets already gone . Over 500 guests are expected to attend the event in November.
