In the first episode of this article, we’ve examined the necessary things we need to do in order to break the yokes of abject poverty on our ways to success and to ensure our victorious living.
Today, let’s continue, I hope you’re ready to be successful in life without getting yourself involved in bigotry, intolerant and satanic-signed practises.
Actually, Success is not the product of your labour but it is the product of effective collaboration between your creator and you. Two things you need basically for now is this; Focus and Application.
Focus
Many people have failed to reach the lofty height because they have no focus. Some people also fail in life because they suddenly lost focus of who they are and where they are heading to.
A driver of a motor who do not know where he’s going to, is likely to end up in forest because people may direct him/her to anywhere they like.
If you don’t know where you are going, people are free to direct you. Many people who are succeding today, are not only succeding because they know how to pray or because they are knowledgable than you but they are succeeding because they have the power of focus.
If you set an attainable goal for yourself that, before the end of this month, I must get this thing, definitely you will get it.
To get yourself involved in many things at the same time underthe umbrella of multiple source of income is dangerous to your success.
When you become a man of overcrowded visions you will surely derail.
I want you to know that there will be lots of things that will be contending for your attention on your way to greatness, but if you give them the requested attentions as they come, you will surely end up being frustrated.
You must know what you need in life and face it. This is very crucial, otherwise you will find yourself where you never planned to be. Always learn to face where you are going with full potentialities in you.
You may as well invest your money in some other ventures as you are led by Holy Spirit, but try to be known for something in particular. If you try to be jack of all trade, you will end up as a master of none.
I have seen many people who are hiding under the umbrella of ”Money must be made”, so they got themselves involved in various trades/businesses, they work day and night to make that money, the works they were doing deprives them from the time that had to spend with their spouses and they did every work(whether good or bad) just to make that money but when I closely watched them, I discovered that they were only working they were not making enough money. Why? They didn’t have a focus.
Dear friend, have you ever seen a man pursuing two rats at the same time? What do you think he will get at the end of the day? He will catch nothing.
This is the same way it has been for people who have given rooms for distractions in their journey of life. At the end of the day, they will have nothing to show for their efforts.
Application
If there’s that very imperative thing I have to tell you before you can succeed in life, then that thing is ”Application.” The application I’m writing here dosen’t connote computer software or an application letter.
The word ”Application” here means the act of applying what you’ve learnt. I’ve went to several churches, where I spoke to people on how they can set themselves free from poverty.
Most times, these people will applaud me, thank me, praise me and as well huge me for a message well delivered.
But when I scrutinized those who I have preached to that are very closed to me, I realized that they are still wallowing in abject poverty.
Some people just love to listen to good sermon/message just to derive pleasure from it but not to hear it to learn from it and put it into practise.
One thing I want you to know is this; You can’t read my articles and still empty, but why do you always like to read them without putting what you have read into practise.
If you have millions of books in your library and you love to read them everyday but if you fail to apply what you’ve read, you’re not better than those who do not read anything at all.
In our country today, We’ve got lots of people who have acquired higher grades in education but they still act like an illiterate. Why?
They fail to put what they’ve learnt into practise.
If you’ve not be applying what you’ve been reading before, start applying them and I bet it with you, with a limited time, your life will experience a significant change.
