AKA’s Great Grandmother Beats Covid-19 At Age 107


South African rapper, AKA is excited as his great grandmother named Meta Reed survives COVID-19 at a very ripe age, 107-years-old.

Supa Mega took to social media to announce the good news and tagged CNN, after the news got published in a newspaper.

It was reported that she was admitted at Mediclinic Gariep 10 days ago with mild symptoms after testing positive for COVID-19.

Meta Reed is a resident of Belgrave Lodge, and the virus has affected 10 of the elderly residents.

The matron of the great gogo’s resident, Tessa Van Wyk said Reed was taken to the hospital and according to the hospital, she has recovered. Though she’s kept in the hospital as she has mild infection.

AKA shared photos of his gogo and hailed her a “living legend”, as it’s believed that old people with the virus hardly survive it.

Fans and friends congratulate the rapper over the good news shared.

In July 2020, The rapper dished out an official statement that he’s been tested positive for COVID-19 and he announced few days after that he’s overcome the virus.

Though, his news got Mzansi divided, as some believed he was paid to pull such stunt.
