Following the release of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results on saturday, some candidates have not been able to assess their results. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says GSM network providers are looking into ‘technical hitches’ preventing some candidates from checking their 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Results.
JAMB had directed candidates to send RESULT as an SMS to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration. JAMB said it simplified the way to check results for the 2019 examination to avoid extortion of candidates.
“The Board has noticed that candidates are having difficulties assessing their results especially with some networks. The network providers are looking into these technical hitches and have assured that normalcy would be restored soon,”the examination body tweeted on Monday.
