Star singer, Wizkid, has released a reply to his former producer and mentor, Samklef over comments he made about his ill-treatment and total disregard for old friends.
Samklef had earlier granted an interview in which he called out Wizkid, accusing the young superstar of ingratitude, abandoning his old friends, neglect, and bad behaviour. The interview quickly went viral, generating a lot of controversial conversations and ill-will towards both parties.
Wizkid who recently released his sophomore album, ‘Ayo (Joy)’, has taken to twitter to give a reply to his former producer. Wizkid replied philosophically, choosing the higher ground, and professing love to Samklef.
“In Life u meet some people u love as much as u love ur blood..I have nothing but Love for Samklef” he tweeted.
He also seemed to negate some of the comments made by Samklef that they haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye, with a revelation that the ace producer, spent time with him last week at his house, and expressed surprise at the outburst by his ‘friend’.
“I have nothing to say about the mean things he said about me…(he was just in my house 2weeks ago) wow..U learn everyday.”
Wizkid finally concluded with a parting prayer for Samklef, wishing him and his family the best of blessings.
“I pray God continues to bless him and his family. Amen. Jah Bless.” He concluded.
Samklef largely produced Wizkid’s debut albumSuper Star, and his breakout singles ‘Tease Me‘, and ‘Don’t Dull‘.
