NEA’s president, Martin Fayomi, an entrepreneur with a burning desire to impact people’s lives positively,  has answered all lingering questions concerning the Nigeria Entertainment Awards

The awards which marks a decade this year recently unveiled music and lifestyle channel AfroMusicPop Tv as its official broadcast Channel,  and according to Martin,  the Awards always had a TV partner but @afromusicpop gives the best platform to extend all of NEA contents.

Speaking on how winners are picked,  he said it’s highly weighted on fan voting and how well acts represent the vision globally

The selection criteria according to Martin is ; release date, reach of the act’s materials  and global impact of work

The chat took a dramatic turn when one of Dban’j Publicist @sir_Rozlah aired his opinion about Dbanj’s nomination, saying it was ridiculous for him to have been nominated alongside Toyin Lawani, Ehis, Jimmie, Olisa Adibua and Emmmanuel Ikubese, Martin was swift to end the drama by saying Sir Rozlah might be a minority with that opinion.

While answering questions on the weekly twitter interview,  he touched two famous questions.  The NEA Awards has never been held in Nigeria because the NEA focus is to export their talents for global recognition, there are other awards in Nigeria

Also tweeting on how people outside America attend the ceremony,  he said “get passport, Visa and jump on a plane to nyc “

To end the chat,  he cleared the air on the voting process. “the voting is limited to one vote a day per device, this allows us prove the integrity of voting “

The tweet chat #kimanioffair hosted by  @cutekimani takes place every Friday at 8pm on Twitter with weekly giveaways
