Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri admits that everyone is for sale for the right price after Paul Pogba put in another match-winning performance to further enhance his reputation.

The French midfielder scored Juve’s first with a long range stunner and set up Stephan Lichtsteiner for the second to secure a 2-0 victory over Chievo on Sunday.

The result left the Old Lady seven points clear at the top of Serie A, and added even more proof of the 21-year-old’s quality.

“I think Pogba scored an extraordinary goal and the second goal was an equally extraordinary assist,” Allegri said after Pogba fuelled even more speculation that he could be the subject of a massive transfer bid.

“Everything in life has a price, unfortunately,” Allegri continued. “I don’t think it is a problem we need to consider right now. It is difficult to replace world class players, but it can be done, as football goes on.

“Having said that, Pogba is only 21 years old, has a good 10-15 years ahead of him and, more importantly, has the qualities to do much better than he is now.

“To win games you need great players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players that clubs pay €100m for. As with every profession, there are levels.”

Juventus face Parma in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday, as they look to add cup success to their dominant lead in the league.
