Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo is the tops marksman in England this year statistics have revealed.
The 25 year old forward has scored more goals in 2015 any player in all divisions in England outscored the EPL quartet of Diego Costa, SergioAgureo, Harry Kane and Danny Ings.
Ighalo who scored just four goals in the first half of the season is hottest property in English football since the turnof the year and is driving the Hornets towards the Premier League.He has scored 13 goals in nine games for Watford in 2015 four goals more that Tottenham Hotspurs striker Harry Kane and nine more than the duo of Costa and Aguero who have found the back of the net four times.
His nine goals this year – including four against Blackpool and two apiece against Charlton, Brentford and Rotherham – have attracted interest from top EPL teams.In the Championship he has scored 17 goals in 26 games for Watford are pushing for promotion and are sixth in theChampionship.
