Talks between the Federal Government and organised Labour yesterday ended in a deadlock.

It will be recalled that the Federal Government had called on Labour leaders for a talk when they declared there would be a nationwide strike starting from tomorrow, but sadly, they couldn’t conclude on a decision.

The meeting will continue this afternoon, 3:00pm, so as it is, we are not sure if the strike will be called off or hold starting tomorrow.

I know a lot of people want to know if it will hold or not, so that they can start preparing for the long strike. Let’s just say we will know late this night.

We shall bring you reports on the outcome of the meeting much later.
