FOUR (4) PL CLUBS THAT MIGHT TOP THE LEAGUE TABLE BY THE END OF THE SEASON BY Chukwudi Nwachukwu (Chuks)
The 2017 season of the English premier league have seen so many competition and rivalry in it. So many clubs breaking boundaries and buying so many talented players and also some clubs breaking their club record transfer fee. But the big question is, WHICH FOUR TEAMS WILL TOP THE LEAGUE BY THE END OF THE SEASON ?. well, all I can do right now is to predict based on what I have seen so far in the English premiere league. Below are four teams that I think might win top the English premier league table by the end of the season
MANCHESTER UNITED – Manchester united coach jose mourinho and the owners of the club have done a good job this season by buying and getting players to fix up the team due to their failure to finish top four last season (2016). So they had to rush into the transfer window to get Evertons and 2016 PL top scorer R. Lukaku, Matic, etc… all these players joining the likes of paul pogba, rashford, fellaini, etc… Manchester united who started the league with a 4-0 win back-to-back with west ham utd and Swansea. So far, Manchester united has not conceded any goal in their three (3) matches played so far. They won their last match against Leicester 2-0. Looking at the force and squad Manchester united has so far, they look like the premier league contenders, but all I can say is lets wait till the season is over. It may be them, it may not be them, no one knows.
LIVERPOOL FC – Everyone seems to be talking about Liverpool’s three (3) forwards ; Sadio mane, Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah. These three players arguably may be the hot three (3) forwards this season. Since the 2017 pre-season, Liverpool have played seven matches so far and won 5 out of it. Looking at this we can say that Liverpool is fully in form and Jurgen klopp and the owners are trying as much as possible to get in more players into the squad. Sadio mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino in what am currently seeing can break any teams defense and put goals into the net. Liverpool is one team to watch out in the 2017 season and might win the league if care not taken or follow among the top four (4) teams on the table by the end of the season.
CHELSEA FC – After Burnley defeated the 2016 champions 3-2 in their opening PL game of the 2017 season, everyone is thinking that Chelsea must have lost their form in the PL. but I see this as a very big NO!. the defeat was due to some new changes made by Coach Comte and I think after the match he learnt a very big lesson. But I promise anyone reading this that Chelsea is back to the league. With their record signing of Morata from Real Madrid, and others have somehow boosted the hopes of their fans and the club owners as well. Chelsea still has its big players in the team and are still strong and I chose them as one of the clubs that may either win the league or top the PL league table by the end of the season .
MANCHESTER CITY – Manchester city have signed some players from Real Madrid, Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur. These players are Danilo Danilo (R. Madrid), Mendy Benjamin (Monaco), and Walker Kyle walker (Tottenham Hotspur) and I am hoping to get a very good performance from them this season. Having finished 3rd last season they are determined to either do more or still top the league. This players signed from top teams across Europe can help them achieve their goals. Though they may be looking dull by the beginning of the season, but they have more to show us what they got.
