This is the toughest election in Nigeria since the return to democracy, the race is so tight that the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan is not even sure of having a single majority of the votes.
Consequently, Jonathan is doing everything to make peace with Muhammadu Buhari.
Credible sources have confirmed to Naijaolofofo.com that President Goodluck is had a private closed door meeting with Buhari of the APC to seal some deals just hours to the presidential election.
The meeting, which started at exactly 9:10 am, is holding at the Sheraton hotels, Abuja.
Believed to be connected with the election, it was said to have been brokered by the national peace committee chaired by Abdulsalami Abubakar, who was also seen in attendance.
Jonathan has been close to Abdulsalami in recent times and he is one man the international community has a lot of respect for due to his bold act of ushering in democracy into the country.
At the end of the meeting, Abdulsalami made both men to sign another peace pact.
